In alignment with our Vision 2020 company strategy, we are excited to announce the promotion of Martin Astwood to Technical Support – Group across Access Hire businesses.

Martin has been working within the access equipment industry for more than 20 years, originally working at the market leading equipment manufacturer Genie. Since being at Access Hire, Martin has been an On-Road Service Technician, travelling across Western Australia to complete breakdown and maintenance servicing of equipment.

In the position of Technical Support – Group, Martin will provide support across the country in the repair and maintenance of our fleet. It is with experienced team members such as Martin that we are able to provide a reliable and professional service to our customers as we have the knowledge and skill set to complete the task at hand.

Access Hire’s service department offers an extensive list of services including minor servicing, 10 yearly major inspections and mechanical repairs/breakdowns on all types of equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts and telehandlers from world leading brands.

As the remote project specialists, we not only service the metropolitan regions but can travel to the most remote locations of Australia to provide our expert servicing to our customers. Our factory trained on-road service technicians are also equipped with genuine OEM parts for total reliability once the service is completed.
